“We did it”
On the 1st October 2017 along with my husband, close friends, family and over 20,000 runners we ran the Great Glasgow Half Marathon to commence the fundraising activity to help us open our first ever Avalon Centre. We set a modest goal of £1000 to help start the charity and have been astounded by the generosity of support given by family, friends & the general public. After only four short weeks the charity has raised £2700 and our sincere thanks goes out to all those that supported us.
Please continue to donate and help us to create a safe place for parents and families to come before, during and after an autism diagnosis. All donations will go directly towards building our first Avalon Centre in Scotland.
We plan to help as many families as possible affected by autism in the hope that this will enhance the lives of those individuals living with autism. Your support and donations will make a huge difference to the lives of others.
We would also like to thank GAP Giving for their generous donation of £500 as nominated by Jennifer.
